In recent years biomass technology has become more suitable for the domestic user, and biomass pellets and chips have become readily available. A popular source of heat in Germany, Austria and Northern Italy, and the hub of where most of the biomass boiler manufacturers are located. A fantastic renewable energy, biomass boilers run on the insertion of specially manufactured pellets through a feeder system, that are put into the boiler a few times a week or through an electronic feed system if you have the room.
